aha! that explains it…duh. I’ll look at the shortcodes again. I need a download CTA. Thanks!

    wpCommerce,

I actually was able to use the code from that link you showed me for an “Order Now” button and it worked like a charm. I tried the same thing for a download button and it didn’t work.

The button displays fine but when I click it, it brings me to my site’s homepage.

Below is the snippet I used…is it incorrect?

    <a href="http://www.myworkathomesuccess.com/?wp_eStore_download_now=25"><img src="http://myworkathomesuccess.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/blue-circle-e1362671216489.png"/></a>

(The code is not showing properly even though I have it in backticks. The only part that shows when I post this is the image code. The part I used from the shortcode is invisible for some reason. I basically used the exact code from that post you sent me and changed the word “buy” to “download” and that’s it.)

    Hi. The page is: [http://myworkathomesuccess.com/thanks-one/index.html]

I’m not great with html but I know enough and theoretically, this should have worked so I can’t find anything causing it NOT to work.

I wanted to try a button first because it looks better. Especially since I plan on doing this with two sales pages as well and I’d prefer there be an Order Now button then a link.

I thought this would be the easiest solution to using html sales pages that aren’t easily reconstructed in WP.

    Any thoughts?

Hey, I’ve been trying this with no success. I easily found the code for the button…copied it…pasted it into the sales page source code and visually everything looks correct but then the button doesn’t do anything.

    Any thoughts?

Awesome! That helped. Any thoughts and how I can put space between this and the compact shopping cart? I have the cart first and this list comes up directly under it. It looks too crammed. :o(

That’s a good idea. I’m going to give it a shot. Thanks!

Aha! That worked! One last question, how do i use the codes next to each other? For example, I’m using Fancy 5 and I just repeated the code directly next to the first shortcode, but the product box always shows up on the next line. How can I get the resulting displays side-by-side?

So I’m giuessing they don’t actually show up in the drodown list. No problem but I did use a few of those and they didn’t work for me. When I preview the page I see the shortcode itself and not the end result which made me think I did not install the extra files correctly. Other thoughts? What step am I missing?

I can’t seem to figure out how to post a completely new issue. I did it a few minutes ago with my first question but not finding how to do it now.

In any event, my question is slightly the opposite of the one above. I DO want to have them provide their email before they can access their free download. But I don’t get how to make the squeeze form work WITH the download now button. I also can’t figure out how to make it look nice in my cart which consists of all Fancy 1 product listings.

I found the following link but unfortunately, it didn’t really help me and left me still confused as to how to actually do this.

How to Make a Squeeze Page Using the WordPress eStore Plugin

    I appreciate your help.
