I’ve installed the bulk member importer and prepared the cvs file with the skeleton column fields and the additional custom fields I’ve created for 196 members I’m trying to import. My results are:
Import Summary
Total 203
Succeeded 196
Failed 7
No. User Info Error
1 Email field is empty.
2 Email field is empty.
3 Email field is empty.
4 Email field is empty.
5 Email field is empty.
6 Email field is empty.
7 Email field is empty.With the first line being the column field names, there were only 197 lines to the cvs, not 203 as the summary shows(my first confusion). About half the records don’t have email addresses, but import results show 7 “Email field is empty” failures, so I’m not sure how that matches to nearly 100 missing emails or what to do next(second confusion). No records would import. If I have over a hundred blank email records, why does it say only seven? Must there be an email address to import? If so, would that mean I need to put in a fake email to at least get the records entered? Can fields be empty and still import records with the data that is there?
