Tagged: empty cart, estore, shopping cart
I did this to myself a while ago and don’t remember where to un-do it. I moved my shopping cart to it’s own page and would like to display something even when the cart is empty, preferably some text stating that the cart is empty and linking back to the online store. I think is the default setting but I changed it while back when I had the cart on the same page as the store. How do I get this working again? I’ve seen other posts with the code that needs to be edited but i can’t find it. There are so many e-store pages to edit that it’s been a bear trying to find it. Please help.
Thanks,

Hi, If you delete the plugin in WordPress and upload a fresh copy this should put the code back to its original state. You will not lose your settings updating the plugin. Note if your files are stored in the downloads directory of the eStore you will want to move this file before you update the plugin so you do not have to re-upload your products. After the update simple move the folder back.
You will then want to use the following shortcode on your checkout page:
[wp_eStore_cart]
You can find a list of all the shortcodes here:

Please see the following post about how updates work:

Thanks for the fast response. It turns out I didn’t have to delete the plug-in for the tag you gave me to work, which is a relief. I just inserted the short code and was good to go.
