Tagged: array-key-exists error message
I’m running WordPress 3.3.1 and WPeMember 7.8.3 on a customer’s site. Everything worked fine until last weekend when her hosting company moved the site to a new server. Now when someone attempts to register, after clicking on the Register button, this error msg appears:
Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The second argument should be either an array or an object in /home/melan1/public_html/mel2012anie/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/eMember_registration_utils.php on line 281
Registration Complete! Please Login
We contacted the hosting company first, thinking this has something to do with the site move, but they indicated it’s an incompatibility issue between WordPress and eMember. However, as noted above, this error msg did not appear for us prior to the server move.
I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled the plug-in and enabled Free membership so we can test this, and it still happens.
Any help is welcome. Thanks!
Can you please try re-installing a new version of the plugin again following these instructions:

Thank you for that link. The new install from a fresh build seems to have worked, though I am not sure why!
