Hello!
Would like to clarify something on the fix for using eStore with WP Super Cache plugin.
I read this post here and followed the instructions for modifying the PHP code:
But, these instructions from the non-forum section of the Tips and Tricks site are different:
I was wondering if someone could expound on why we should go with modifying the PHP code if it is just as easy to add the string for the checkout page URL to the caching exclusions? Does modifying the PHP code do something extra?
I am only using the eStore module, and it is at this site:

This one is more robust and works under any type of shopping cart setup:
The following one is a simpler one but it works if you have placed the shopping cart only on a “Checkout” page (this is why we recommend this one for the users of the simple PayPal shopping cart plugin):
