Wp Photo Seller – Images not showing after site move

The gallery template you are using in the link you provided doesn’t look like it is being generated by this plugin – is it a standard template or is it something you have modified?

I’m asking because the CSS classes used in it are not from this plugin.

This template was custom built by the support email for your plugin. They built the gallery per what I wanted….but just curious how I can fix this quickly.

Ok so you are saying one of our team customised the template for you?

I’m not aware of this which is why I don’t know exactly which part of the “new” code is causing the issue because I haven’t seen that code.

If you could share the custom php file with me I can take a look at it.

Just as a test, can you revert to the stock standard template 1, do the thumnbails appear?

Yes they do come back….what custom file…they gave me a whole addon like it was a new version….

While looking at the templates…I noticed that they reference the $path variable.

Template8 works, uses this…

$path = $wpsPhotoObj->thumb_url;

Template9 does not work and is custom, uses this…

$path = $wpsPhotoObj->image_file_url;//thumb_url;

What is the image_file_url and why is it coming up with /wp/ in the path?

He is using that because I wanted bigger thumbnails I assume….

If I trace it back to the model for WPSPhotoProduct… I get this…

$this->image_file_url = $image_post->guid;

Does that mean the guid is messed up in the database?

I keep editing this post, sorry I figured it out, in the post has a guid field (mysql) and there the path is wrong….I am updating each image post, but will this be screwed up if I add a new image, can you tell me where the path would be adding into the guid field?

Don’t update the posts…..you should upgrade the photo seller plugin because you obviously have an old version.

If I upgrade the plugin I will lose the custom template that your support built for the gallery page?

I was able to update the links within the posts table easily. My question though is if they used the guid will new images added to the gallery, break?

My understanding is that the customisations done on your site were in the form of an addon plugin. Therefore you should be ok to upgrade the main photo seller plugin.
