    Is it it possible to have two separate parents that will link to two separate, different galleries? I have one type of photos under one parent and am trying to have another parent link to another different type of photos. I don’t want them all under the same parent.

    thanks!

    The plugin automatically creates a page for each gallery under the main “photogallery” parent page.

    You can always manually insert the following gallery shortcode into any page you wish:

    [WPS_photo_gallery id=”1″]

    where “id” is your gallery ID

    No, those two plugins are completely separate.

    What plugin or advise would you recommend if I want to sell photos and have a store for products. I would like to have the same cart for everything. I purchased the WP photo seller already. thanks!

    It kind of depends on how in-depth you want to go for the products/photos that you are selling. Our WP eStore plugin is capable of handling any kind of product selling:

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-estore-plugin-complete-solution-to-sell-digital-products-from-your-wordpress-blog-securely-1059

    However, any plugin that allows you to sell all kinds of products is never going to be as good as our photo seller plugin for just selling photos.

    If photo selling is your main business, then it is totally okay to let the photo seller plugin handle that part. You can add another shopping cart to handle the few other products that you maybe selling. Depending on your product, the simple WordPress shopping cart plugin might just to do the job:

    You can just have a store page where you sell other products using another shopping cart.

    ok great, I’ll look into the simple pay-pal plugin or possibly have the store menu linked to a sister site with the WP Estore. thanks for the help!

    Hi Peter – I am interested in having different pages for different groups of galleries. I currently have 23 Photo Seller galleries, so in my photo store there are 23 preview images which when clicked will bring you to the rest of the gallery images. Some of my galleries are getting old, so I would like to move the older galleries onto another photo store page. Of my 23 total galleries, 13 are from the Fall and 10 are from Winter. You mentioned the following shortcode [WPS_photo_gallery id=”1″] to add a gallery into another page. If I create a Fall page and add the shortcodes for each of the 13 galleries, then I will see hundreds of thumbnails on my Fall page. Is there a way to just show just the 13 clickable preview images on the newly created Fall page? Thanks

    We have recently added the option to create Albums with your galleries. I think that will help you achieve what you are after.

    Read the “Photo Albums” documentation from here:

    http://photography-solutions.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-photo-seller-documentation/

    Is that something that will work for you?

    Sorry – somehow I missed seeing your reply. Yes, that sounds great! “Album” is not currently a selection on my Photo Seller main menu. Is there a plugin update that I must download? Thanks

    The Albums feature in WP Photo Seller is great. However if you’re anything like me, having only one parent category (album) is never enough.

    Are there any future plans to have sub-albums? eg.

    I would love to have a section with Private Galleries (Featuring password protected galleries) and a section with Public Galleries. Each section would then have sub-albums. eg.

    Private Galleries (Album) =>

    -> Weddings

    –> John & Marys Wedding

    –> Bill & Sues Wedding

    –> Michael and Eves Wedding

    -> Events

    –> Corporate Event

    –> Private Party

    -> Baby Photos

    –> Baby Thomas

    –> Megans Christening

    Public Gallery =>

    -> Events

    –> Car Show

    –> Concert

    -> Portraits

    –> Miss Fancy Magazine Shoot

    -> Landscapes

    This is a feature, that I think would make a valuable addition to WP Photo Seller. Any plans for the future?

    You could do the following to achieve it.

    Create the albums “Weddings”, “Events” and the galleries that go inside them. Now create a page called “Private Galleries” and add the shortcode to put the “Weddings” and “Events” albums on this page.

    You can then do the same for the public gallery page also.

    Hi admin, thanks for the reply.

    I had already done what you suggested, but wish to have multiple albums within the wedding album.
