Hi, I am using eStore and the WP Gateway Bundle to process credit card payments on my site. Everything is working great now after some troubleshooting, but I have two small requests:
1. The default year in the credit card expiration date field on the COLLECT DETAILS page is 2011, which results in a red error message before the customer has entered their credit card’s actual expiration date. Where/how do I change the default date to 2013?
2. I would like to customize the ‘Checkout’ button that appears when customers select ‘Pay by Credit Card’ from the dropdown on my Checkout page. Can I simply replace the default ‘Checkout’ button graphic in the plugin’s images folder with my custom-designed button, or will this mess stuff up?
Thanks,
January 8, 2013 at 1:03 am #52853adminKeymasterThe default year for the “Expiry Field” should be set as the current year. We have made this change the payment gateway bundle addon. Please download a new copy to get this change:

Yes, you can simply overwrite the image with your custom designed image in the “images” folder of the plugin.
June 17, 2013 at 5:20 pm #52854teenmetalMemberHi, Although the default year in the credit card expiration field on the COLLECT DETAILS page provided by the Payment Gateway plugin now reads 2013, the default month is listed as 1, which now results in a red error message once the customer selects the month of their credit card expiration. I have just downloaded and updated my Payment Gateway plugin–how do I rectify this?
June 18, 2013 at 2:09 am #52855wpCommerceModeratorHi, so you want the expiry month field to be automatically selected for the current month?
June 18, 2013 at 3:05 am #52856teenmetalMemberwell, not necessarily, i just think it’s offputting if when you are entering your credit card expiration date and let’s say the month is anywhere from january to june (aka, anytime this year before now), you get a red error message.
i have tested this out and when i put in an expiration date of 2/15, i get the red error message when i set the month to 2. then when i adjust the year, the error message goes away, but the actual month i selected which now appears in the dropdown stays red. it doesn’t go away until you enter your CVV.
i know this is a tiny detail, but it seems like most of the people who choose to pay by credit card on my site are people who are not used to paying for things online and they tend to get alarmed at stuff like this, so it’d be great if there was some kind of solution that got rid of the error message/red.
June 19, 2013 at 1:58 am #52857wpCommerceModeratorHi, we have made it so the current month will be automatically selected by default. That should also take care of the error for the time being.
Please get a fresh copy of the payment gateway bundle addon:
Let me know how it goes.
