WP eMember and Aweber both sending confirmation emails

When I have someone sign-up for the Free membership, both Aweber and Emember send confirmation emails about completing registration and opting in, it is somewhat confusing. Anyway to turn off wp emember automatic emails?

Hi, There are two separate emails though. One is sent by AWeber for double opt-in (for the newsletter subscription). This is something AWeber does.

The other one is the standard email sent by eMember when a user becomes a member (this email contains their login information and any other info you want to give to your members when they become a member).

I don’t think you should turn off the email from eMember as that is a good way to tell your members what to do next.

Anyway, to turn off the emails being sent from eMember you will need to tweak some code as shown in this post (see second reply by @wpCommerce):
