Hi Guys,
I recently start having internal server error to my site. So I contacted hostgator to know what is causing the issure, and this is what they emailed me…
.
.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting HostGator, we appreciate you taking the time do so.
It appears to be an issue with the plugin wp-cart-for-digital-products that is causing the issue. We have a limit of 25 concurrent processes for our shared servers and this WordPress plugin installed for the domain [http://alphaattractionmarketing.com] is currently causing the running processes to spike above 25 which causes the internal server error.

Is there a work around for this? Can you please give some information how can I solve this?
Thank you so much.
January 10, 2014 at 2:23 pm #60229mbrsolutionSpectatorHi mlmalpha, Do you have any cache plugin installed? Is your website running in a shared account with Hostgator?
It is likely that the plugin somehow got stuck in a bad state on your site. So I would recommend doing the following:
First, load a fresh copy of the plugin:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Then tell your hosting provider to restart your server (which will clean out any hanging processes). That should do the trick.
Here are some additional info for you.
There are some limitations when using shared accounts with most host. Especially if you are going to get a lot of traffic and run multimedia files on a website.
For example I just did a test with your website using [http://gtmetrix.com] and the following is the results of the test.
Page Speed Grade: D(66%)
YSlow Grade: D(67%)
Page load time: 6.01s
Total page size: 1.32MB
Total number of requests: 84
The above test is one way of finding out if you have setup your website correctly or if the server is fast or not. There are other websites you can use to test your website peformance.
There is nothing wrong with the plugin. I have a client who uses the plugin with Hostgator shared account. If you are going to use multimedia files then I suggest that you upgrade your current plan to a plan that provides more resources. Hostgator has many different types of plans, I am sure there is one to suit your needs. However if your budget does not allow it at the present moment then I kindly suggest that you change the way your website is set up and maybe run your videos from an external source.
If you need more advice please let us know.
Kind regards
