Hi,
We would like to issue our affiliates with a personal discount code that the people they refer to the site can use. This code will identify the sale came via a particular affiliate. We expect the majority of affiliate sales to come from friends and family where the affiliate sends an email inviting their friend/family member (i.e. immediate social circle) to purchase the product – the friend/family member clicks the email and is taken to the site to purchase the download and enters their discount code. They purchase the product and WP Affiliate register the sale came by a particular affiliate etc. We do not expect many affiliates to promote the product via blogs/websites – more by word of mouth followed up by an email with a description and a link to the site to purchase.
We would also like to have the option to offer the product at a discounted price and give a commission to the affiliate. So friend/family member comes to the site, enters their code, gets the product 10% cheaper and the affiliate gets a 30% commission on the 10% cheaper price.
Are both of these scenarios easy to configure?
