Getting this error when I try to save a draft of a page following installation / activation of the affiliate plugin:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/mwsmedia/mattselznick.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliate_platform_affiliate_view.php:91) in /home/mwsmedia/mattselznick.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 866
Using the most current version of the plugin (downloaded yesterday.) I’m using W3 Total Cache with no object caching, compression turned off, and the recommended cookie exclusion (ap_id, cart_in_use, eMember_in_use.)
Is there a clearly described, step by step fix for this? I’ve searched the forums and haven’t seen anything that works.
Thanks for a swift response.
Best,
Matt

Admin might be best suited to answer this definitively but in the meantime can you please do the following conflict tests to eliminate the possibility of a plugin/theme conflict:

April 28, 2012 at 3:04 am #44522mwsmediaMemberWorking through that now… I’ve discovered the issue is at play only when I try to save a draft — seems to work okay when I actually publish.
Still not acceptable. Interested in hearing from admin or others…
April 28, 2012 at 6:30 am #44523adminKeymasterFirst, make sure to load a fresh build of the affiliate plugin:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
This will only happen when you have a plugin or a theme that is echoing data or setting cookie after the header has been sent. This is something no plugin or theme should do (its bad coding). So even though it looks like an issue coming from the affiliate plugin, its actually not the fault of this plugin. You haven’t noticed this error before because the error mainly shows up when PHP session is in play (The affiliate platform plugin uses PHP session).
Please go through this test to identify the source:
