Hello, Recently some affiliate told me that he received an email for a sale, but this sale had not been added to his account.
So, either there was a problem with the notification system (ie he received the mail but the sale is not from his cookie), either there is a problem within the plugin which did not record his sale.
Now, I have no way to know if this sale was his or not. And I’d like to know how to be sure that it won’t happen again.
It’s the first time that I encounter this problem, untill now it worked really well.
Thank you,
Best regards,
Hervé Lero

- If you are using product specific commissions, is the commission amount > 0?
November 2, 2016 at 12:01 am #74502adminKeymasterWhat are you integrating the affiliate plugin with? Is there an e-commerce plugin that you are using? If you are then which one?
Do the following just to be sure:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
Then go to the plugin settings and enable the debug option. Do an affiliate referred test transaction after that. The debug log file will show everything in terms of who is getting the commission and how much. That will tell us where things are going wrong.

@wzp :
Yes, there’s been dozens of sales before this without any problem, with commission properly handled.
The commission is set at 36%.
@admin : Sorry I forgot to mention that I’m using it with wp-estore.
I’m going to reinstall the plugin as you mentionned.
Is there any way to find out what happened last time (in order to pay the commission to my affiliate) ?
Thank you,
Hervé

Here is the debug file of the transaction :
[11/02/2016 2:40 PM] – FAILURE :Failed to retrieve the affiliate ID for this transaction. TXN ID: 4N226933B3261840V
[11/02/2016 2:40 PM] – FAILURE :Failed to retrieve the commission details for this transaction. TXN ID: 4N226933B3261840V
[11/02/2016 2:40 PM] – SUCCESS :Commission notification email sent to affiliate. Email address: gregory@***.com
November 3, 2016 at 2:42 am #74505adminKeymasterLooks like the database insert for the commission is failing on your site. Something is out of place for the commissions DB table. I will take a look inside your admin. I have sent an email for it.
