WordPress users and WP Affiliate Platform users relationship

Hi, just wanted to get clarification on WordPress users vs. WP Affiliate platform users. If I have a person who is both a WordPress user and a WP Affiliate Platform user, and they have the same email address, will they be able to log in simultaneously to their WordPress dashboard AND to their affiliate control panel? My hope is that they are completely unique users and there is no confusion for them. Thanks!

“Affiliates” are separate from WordPress “Users.” However, there is an option to import existing WordPress users into the Affiliate database:
