We just purchased your affiliate plugin for use on our site – http://StartUpLift.com Basically we are trying to allow our existing members to be able to get a commission for referring new customers. How do I integrate the plugin with existing user-base. In other words, I want each of the users to automatically get an affiliate account without having to sign up again. Thanks for your quick response!
November 25, 2011 at 5:08 am #38880adminKeymasterYour affiliates will have to sign up for an affiliate account using the affiliate plugin’s registration form to become an affiliate. You can send a mass email to your users and send them to the affiliate signup page and they can signup if interested.
November 25, 2011 at 3:36 pm #38881startupliftMemberThat’s exactly what I am trying to avoid. I have a system where I am already paying out user for their contribution – so I already have their information. I simply want them to be able to login with the same current wordpress login information. How can this be done? Can you at least point me to a direction – which files etc, need to be updated, if it is not easily doable. Without this integration, the plugin is of no use to me – I cannot ask thousands of our existing users to sign up again. Thanks for your help.
November 26, 2011 at 12:06 am #38882adminKeymasterThis is one of the main reasons why we explain what our plugin does and how it does it on our sales and documentation pages. You can avoid these kind of misunderstanding by carefully reviewing the feature list and the documentation pages. You can also ask us questions if you have any confusion prior to purchasing any product. You have your reason for wanting an option but we have our reasons for not having a particular option.
With that said, I have been testing an option that can allow the admin to import all WordPress users as affiliates (it will create an affiliate account using the wp username as the Affiliate ID). It has some limitations (the main reason for not having this option in the first place) but I am trying to get around it with another option. If you are interested in testing this out please contact us using the contact form on the site (mention this forum post when you contact us).

December 9, 2011 at 10:14 am #38885adminKeymasterGet a new build of the plugin and you will see a new tab under the “Manage Affiliates” menu which will let you import the WordPress users as affiliates. You can get a new build from here:
