Hello,
How can I link the “View Cart” link when I can the Widget activated? The WP Cart for Digital Products is activated on the pages however, having three items in the cart, when I click on the “View Cart” link it goes no where – just refreshes to the page I’m on. Where do I link this to the Cart? I’ve tried making a “Shopping Cart” Page however – still – not sure how to link the “View Cart” Link of the Widget to the actually Cart. Thanks for your help!!!
Warmest wishes,
Matteo

January 29, 2012 at 10:51 pm #41204MatteoMemberHello again Peter,
Here is another one: After I complete a transaction through PayPal (sandbox mode) and return to my site, the shopping cart has the items still in there from the purchase that just went through. Is there a way to return to an empty cart after the purchase has gone through? It is a little strange to see the items still there after a purchase, as if they are waiting to be purchased again. Idea ideas?
Warmest wishes!
Matteo

January 30, 2012 at 1:19 am #41206MatteoMemberHello Peter,
I’m not using the “WordPress Simple PayPal Shopping Cart Plugin”. I’m using “WP Cart for Digital Products.” I guess it’s what was installed as a Widget when installing WP eStore . . . and not sure where to change the settings on that – if it’s the same or not.
Here is what the settings for WP eStore’s “WP Cart for Digital Products” :
Shopping Cart Widget Title
Shopping Cart Header
Text or Image to Show When the Cart is Empty
Display Continue Shopping Link
Do Not Show Quantity in Shopping Cart
Checkout Page
Automatic redirection to checkout page
Allow Shopping Cart Anchor
Hide Shopping Cart Image
Show Compact Cart in Widget
Enable Fancy Redirection On Checkout
Enable Checkout Amount Limitations (optional)
Nothing about Reset.
Should I be using “WordPress Simple PayPal Shopping Cart Plugin,” and if so having both installed: will there be two Carts with the same items to be purchased – or will this be confusing?
Please advice.
Thank you, again.
Matteo
January 30, 2012 at 1:28 am #41207PeterMemberHi Matteo,
Oops I replied in the wrong thread. I’ll take another look and see if I can find an answer.
January 30, 2012 at 1:40 am #41208MatteoMemberHello Peter,
I do not understand. I’m not sure what the PayPal PDT Token has to do with the Shopping Cart Reseting to empty. Are you referring to the other thread that we are having, about Download Links? That issue is half resolved.
This one is about having the shopping cart revert to empty after a purchase. Sorry if this is confusing.
. . . or I’m I missing something?

January 30, 2012 at 1:49 am #41209PeterMemberHi Matteo,
Which version of the eStore plugin are you using?
Have you made any modifications to the plugin?
Are you using a caching plugin?
Can you please follow the directions in the link below to eliminate the possibility that you may have a PHP session problem:

January 30, 2012 at 2:03 am #41210MatteoMemberHello Peter,
I thought our threads gots crossed.
I’m using WP eStore v6.3.7.
I have not modified the plugin.
I read the link you forwarded but does not seem to relate to my issue. I did the php test, and it functions property regarding keeping the items in the cart when moving to another page on the site.
I’m interested in the cart being reset to empty after a purchase. Other than that, the cart works great.
Best!
Matteo
January 30, 2012 at 4:50 am #41211adminKeymasterJust to make sure… your only issue now is that the shopping cart is not getting empty after a purchase (when the user land on the thank you page) right? Please post a link to your product page. Which payment gateway are using?
January 30, 2012 at 4:23 pm #41212MatteoMemberHello Key Master,
Well, actually I’m having two issues:
1) Cart not reverting to Empty after Purchase
2) Not Receiving Emails of Digital Products – https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/not-receiving-download-link-nor-download-links-on-thank-you-page
Here is one product Page: [http://opusopen.com/recitativo]
I’m using PayPal as my payment gateway.
Could it have something to do with being Maintenance Mode? I’m using a Plugin so people do not buy while I’ll debugging. I’m going to try to do it totally live and see what happen.
If you have any ideas, please respond.
Thank you, Key Master.

January 30, 2012 at 4:34 pm #41213MatteoMemberHello Key Master,
So, I tried the transaction with the Maintenance Mode deactivated and it worked – the Cart is Resent to Empty after payment through PayPal.
However I’m still not receiving the email with links to download Digital Products
I’m going to try a transaction not in Sandbox Mode (through PayPal) and see it this changes anything.
I’ll let you know.

January 30, 2012 at 5:21 pm #41214MatteoMemberHello Key Master and Peter,
I completed a transaction in Live Mode – not Sandbox – and everything is working EXCEPT I’m still not receiving the email to download the digital products.
Please advice.
Thank you so much for your effort in getting this set-up correctly.
Mu warmest wishes,
Matteo
