Using an external landing page, but tracking it with plugin?

I’ve got a landing page on my WordPress installation, with the “BUY NOW” buttons in place. It all tracks affiliates and commissions fine.

But I’d like to use an external landing page as well.

This isn’t on the same host, so it isn’t the same installation of WordPress.

Is there any way I can create an affiliate link which will be tracked by the affiliate plugin on the original WordPress installation, but show people this new, external landing page which they can pay from?

The affiliate software tracks the referrals using cookies and the thing about cookies are that it needs to be in the same domain. You can’t access a cookie of a domain from a separate domain (obviously for security reasons).

So the simple answer is no you cannot do this but the affiliate platform plugin allows you to do remote click tracking and commission awarding which might be of some help:

Is there any additional function added to wp affiliate platform recently for the external landing page ?

Do we still need to develop our own code base on the API for the External Landing Page ?
