If I sell differents products on multiple sites (differnets URL), is it possible to have only one affiliation platform or we need to install WP AFFILIATE on each URL ? I hope not, because affiliate will need to open multiple accounts.
November 25, 2011 at 10:30 pm #38890adminKeymasterThe cookie from one domain cannot be accessed from another domain for security reasons. If you want to track clicks and commissions from all your other WordPress installs (from different domains) using one install of the affiliate plugin you can do the following:
We have developed a small helper plugin that you place on your sub-domain/other wordpress installs and it will communicate with the main plugin installed on the main site to track clicks and sales remotely.
If this option helps then contact us using the contact form on our site and mention this forum thread and someone will email you the plugin.
A good post to read for users using WP Multi site:

November 26, 2011 at 1:50 am #38892alchymedMemberI have another problem:
I need to create a buy now button in Paypal linked with wp-affiliates and e-member
A) If I create a PayPal Button Using PayPal’s PDT Feature, the affiliates sales and the Sales Count are ok, but the new member is not created in emember
if I use PayPal Button Using PayPal’s IPN Feature, then the affiliates sales and the Sales Count doesn’t work and the new member is created correctly
So what can I do ?
November 26, 2011 at 9:36 pm #38893adminKeymasterYou can use both PDT and IPN with a PayPal button at the same time. There is no limitation that you can only use a button for IPN only or PDT only. Basically, do what you have done for IPN then simply enable PDT in your PayPal account so PDT is also available.

March 8, 2014 at 3:47 am #38896tshombeMemberHi there,
I see that this is 2-years-old, so I want to make sure I’m posting in the correct forum and that I should request the helper plugin via the contact form.
I created a new product on the domain where I have both the estore plugin and the affiliate platform plugin installed. The product, however, is sold on a separate domain. I guess my first question is “Should I instead have installed the estore plugin on the separate domain?”
If so, how will I be able to use the same affiliate program on the original domain for tracking purposes?
Would the helper addon solve this problem?
March 8, 2014 at 4:21 am #38897tshombeMemberNow that I think more on this, maybe it doesn’t matter what domain it’s on. I can just link to the shopping cart, right?….though I actually don’t know how to do that.
Also, I’m using the squeeze page addon to deliver free videos and using Mailchimp autoresponders to both deliver the videos and sell the product/program, the sales page of which will also be on a domain separate from the main site where estore & affiliate plateform are installed.
March 8, 2014 at 7:41 am #38898adminKeymasterI am going to give you a little bit of reading material first. This will help you get a good overall understanding:

Then have a read of this thread:

How to create pass thru affiliate links:
Let me know if the above links help you find a setup that works for you. If you want the helper affiliate addon after that, simply contact us and we will give you that addon.
March 8, 2014 at 9:11 pm #38899tshombeMemberHi there,
Thank you for such a quick reply! And, thank you for the links to this documentation.
I have actually read these when searching the forums, and I think the helper addon will work. Also, it does appear after re-reading this information, the text link option will also support what I’m doing.
Thank you! I will set up everything & reconnect with you if I need additional support.
I am still confused about how add the squeeze page to a site the is different from where I’ve installed eStore. Can you help me with what I’m missing?
March 8, 2014 at 10:47 pm #38900adminKeymasterYou will need to install eStore on the site where you want to use it’s shortcode. So why not install eStore on the site where you want to add the squeeze form?
March 9, 2014 at 12:39 am #38901tshombeMemberThat does sound like the easiest thing to do, doesn’t it?
This is probably a silly question, but when I install the Affiliate Platform Satellite plugin on that other site, will it work with this separate eStore installation?
One concern I have is the product ID will be replicated. I haven’t installed the Satellite plugin, yet, but maybe it sorts that all out. (?)
March 9, 2014 at 8:04 pm #38902adminKeymasterYeah that will still work fine.
March 9, 2014 at 11:43 pm #38903tshombeMemberThank you! I’ve installed everything and am now setting everything up. I’m anxiously looking forward to it all working. Thank you for your support.
