Some of my products have multiple downloads (up to 4 mp3s and 4 pdfs). On a site I use that doesn’t use eStore, I use password-producted pages to deliver the products. When people buy the product, they get an email from my autoresponder on 1shoppingcart.com giving them the URL and login info. I’d like to use these same download pages for the products I’m offering on the eStore site I’m putting together.
To do this, do I have to set up an autoresponder on MailChimp for the products and send the info via their Final Welcome Letter or is there a way to do it directly from eStore?
Thanks
You can do the same with the autoresponder but eStore has an option whereby you can add some custom message for every product that will be added to the final email that the buyer receives.
When you create the product simply add your login details in the “Product Specific Instruction” section of this product and the customer will get this after the purchase.
Would I use the download page URL in the Digital Product URL field?
Yep and don’t forget to uncheck the “Downloadable” field for this product so it will send the client to that page when they click on the encrypted link.
