I have a plugin that displays content from a specific page. If I insert a WP Lightbox Ultimate shortcode into the page, when the plugin echo’s the page content the shortcode isn’t executing … it’s just displaying the shortcode.
How would I be able to display a shortcode from a plugin?
Thanks
Brian
Hi, What shortcode are you trying to use? Can you please share the link to the page where you are having this issue?
Nevermind — I just needed to wrap the content from the page in the do_shortcode() function.
Could someone please clarify how this is done? I am attempting to put a shortcode within a shortcode, but not sure how that would be implemented. I have tried this situation [button_link url=”/the/path/to/my/permalink” class=”popup” style=”impactBtn”] [WP eMember] [/button_link]. The problem is that this only displays the eMember form instead of the button. Is there a way to get this to be activated “onclick” of the button image? Ideally, I was hoping I could do this: [button_link url=”[WP eMember]” class=”popup” style=”impactBtn”]Sign In![/button_link], but WordPress does not support. Is there another way to implement the short code within?
Hi, This topic/thread is for lightbox ultimate plugin. If the shortcode that you are using is related to eMember plugin then post your question in the eMember plguin’s forum area. Also read this post (see the “How to Navigate” section if you are not sure):
