Hi, I store my digital products on Amazon servers
Usually everything works fine but the other weekend everyone trying to download my files through the WP eStore encrypted link kept getting an error message (saying “file corrupted”). The problem lasted several days but it now all seems ok again…
But when I put a support ticket in during the problem period, I was told that my Amazon URL wasn’t configured properly (when I set it up originally I followed the instructions but the instructions now look different? has there been a change?). The problem is that my downloads are Zip files so I can’t use the current suggested format(?). Am I okay to leave things as they are? i.e. https://s3.amazonaws.com/BucketName/FileName.zip or should I change to the alternative format for any reason? i.e. as3tp://bucket.s3.amazonaws.com/folder/object (leaving the ‘/object’ off)?
Thanks

Have you followed these instructions to integrate eStore with S3?
Amazon Web Services Simple Storage Service (AWS S3) Integration
Also, some possible reasons for what you are seeing are explained in these posts:

Ho do I find my secret access key? I have the 20 character access key but not the 40 character secret one. Clicked on the “know what your AWS Access Identifiers are.” link in eStore but it just took me to my (non-secret) access key.

“Please tell us the AS3TP URI for the product was either malformed or that the AS3TP configuration is incorrect. Thank you!”
Is it anything to do with the fact that the download is a Zip?
Would appreciate a quick response as I have customers waiting
Many thanks

Please pay attention to the “Important Notes” section on that page.
