Upload or Select Images function not working

After creating a new gallery by copying the configuration of an existing gallery, clicking on the “Upload Images” button, nothing happens. No window appears from which to select images for upload. The Bulk Import function doesn’t work either.
WP 5.5.1 and plugin version 2.5.0 installed as an update/upgrade. It last worked on Sept 21st 2020. WP 5.5.1 was installed on 23rd September 2020. wp-photo-seller v2.5.0 installed 28th September 2020 – previous version was 2.0.5.

This started working after uploading an image to the WP Media – NOT via the wp-photo-seller by via the WP Dashboard. Very strange but all seems okay now.

I am also having this issue! I have used the plugin with no errors/worries for 2+ years and then this week I cannot upload any photos to new galleries. I also could not go into an existing gallery to add photos that way. Can someone help fix my upload button??
