Hi, please can you help?
I am getting the following error when using a squeeze form?
Could not POST the squeeze form processing request to the server!
Many thanks
Claire
June 19, 2012 at 3:52 pm #46270wzpModeratorIt is possibly a theme conflict. Temporarily test with the TwentyTen theme.

June 19, 2012 at 4:02 pm #46271freeupyourdayMemberThank you, but I’m using OptimizePress and it already works on another site? Also I keep getting messages similar to
The URL specified in the “Default Landing Page” field does not seem to be a valid URL! Please check this value again:
so I’m wondering if it could be a permissions issue?
June 19, 2012 at 11:29 pm #46272adminKeymasterThis would be a server setup related issue. First of all you do not seem to have the popular CURL library for PHP installed on this server. You do not have PHP’s URL parser available either.
The warning about the URL not being valid can be ignored if you know for sure that the URL is correct. This message is only given to the admin as a means to help you (so you don’t make mistake in the URL value).
Request your hosting provider to install the PHP CURL library and the following error will go away:
Could not POST the squeeze form processing request to the server
August 7, 2012 at 6:42 am #46273dorevMemberI’m also getting the error message:
Could not POST the squeeze form processing request to the server!
I know it’s not the theme as I tested it with the TwentyTen theme.
I’ve previously had issues with the CURL library and .pdfStamper. The service provider’s only response was this:
‘Thanks for contacting us. There isn’t currently anything wrong with curl that we are aware of, but this script will not work as it is making http requests to the same server that the target script is on (also known as ‘loopback’ connections). We do not allow this for security reasons, as this would be an easy way for attackers to crash a webserver. If you try to access files that are not on the server using curl, this should work correctly.’
and you’ve kindly found a way of making the .pdfStamper work without CURL library.
Please help!
August 8, 2012 at 6:13 am #46274adminKeymasterI have made some tweaks in the plugin that I think should help you get past this restriction. I have sent you an update to your email please check it.
