Specify Pick Up Date & Time

Is there a way to make the buyer specify time and date to pick up items from the shopping cart? For example, a bakery is selling items and they want the end user to pick and purchase online and then specify the date and time they will be there to pick up the order. I was thinking of using the product variations, but that only works for time of pickup, not date. I wouldn’t want to update the items every day to include current dates.
