MemberHi,
Is it possible to add a delivery/ shipping or collection/pick up date field to the checkout page whilst using manual checkout?
Thanks,
Jen.

ModeratorAs an input (I want it on) or display (you’ll get it on) field?

MemberI was a little confused there …
As an input – the customer can select/ add a date on the checkout page.
I’m also having an issue with product display fancy5. When product variation and/ the text instruction field is added, the fields are too wide for the display area/ box. I’ve added to test page for you to see: [http://www.jenjenscupcakery.co.uk/product-test-page/]
Thanks.

KeymasterYou can instruct your customers to enter the “collection/pick up date” in the additional comment field of the manual checkout form.
Alternatively, you can use the following addon to configure a custom “collection date” field:

Some of your variation names are too long for the fancy5 display. If you want to keep using the fancy5 template then edit your variation names and shorten it a little. Alternatively, pick another display template that will work correctly with your long names:

MemberThanks. I’ve edited the variation description. Before I go ahead and buy the addon, please can you tell me if there is a date/ calendar field type or if I’d just have a text field to form. Being able to select the date from a drop down calendar would be great but a field that validates the date would also work.
Thanks in advance.

ModeratorYou can use a text field that says “Pickup Date” and make that a required field. That should do the job.
There is no calendar date picker available, and there is no validation other than making a field required. If you would like such a feature as a custom modification to the addon, please request a quote before purchase:
