Special price for affiliate products

Can you set a special price for products that are purchased from affiliates, or do all products have to have the same price and the affiliate simply gets a commission amount on them

Hi, Each product can have a different price. The affiliate will get the commission based on the product price and commission rate.

Lets say you have a product with a price of $100. The affiliate commission rate is 25%. When this product is sold via a referral, the affiliate will receive $25 as commission. If you have another product with a price of $60 then that will generate a commission of $15 (when sold via an affiliate referral).

Thanks for that input, but, I think my question was misunderstood. I sell online courses and want an online course to have one price for the general public and a separate price for those that are purchasing through our affiliates. So, I want to know if there is any way 1 product can have different pricing for affiliates than for everyone else.

What you can do is use coupon codes that are linked to specific affiliates.

What will happen is that, when a buyer enters a particular coupon code, they will receive the discount; and the affiliate will also receive credit.

Thank you for that option, but I am not sure that will work. Here is our dilemma… We want the general public to get one price, and people who purchase through affiliates to get another price. However, the price for these products to the public can sometimes fluctuate with sales an we want the affiliate price to always be the same. I am unable to create a coupon for the affiliate group that is a set specific price (because it is always either a percentage of the regular price or a percentage amount off).

Our e-commerce platform is Woocommerce and they told us we could not make a coupon for a specific price without custom coding. Any other ideas of how to get around this?
