Use a coupon code to credit affiliate for sales

Can you have it so that you credit a sale to an affiliate based on a coupon code they use?

Eg I give affiliate 1 a coupon code SAVINGSA they get credit for all those purchases

SAVINGSB sales go to another affiliate?

You can use the following options in eStore to do something similar.

Go to eStore settings -> Addon settings and check the following two checkboxes:

1) Allow Affiliate ID Entry

2) Link Affiliate ID with Coupons Table

Now, create a coupon code which is same as the “affiliate ID” of the affiliate in question and specify the discount value.

When the customers use this Coupon code/affiliate ID in the shopping cart they will get the discount and also be giving credit to the affiliate.

If this is a recurring membership, how do we control whether the coupon price is applied to recurring purchases or not?

Is there any way to make this coupon code apply a different discount to different products? (since the coupon code has to be the affiliate’s name)

Applying discount to recurring purchase is a little different than normal one off purchase. We have created an eStore addon to accommodate discount/coupon for subscription product which might help. Would you like to test this addon?

There is no way to apply different discount amount using the same coupon code. The coupon codes are unique (just like affiliate IDs).
