Hola!
I’ve just installed eMember on my WP self-hosted blogsite, and have followed the instructions to set up a free membership.
I get as far as signing up for a membership (login widget redirects to the registration page), and after filling in the form and hitting the submit button, I get an error message: “Something Went Wrong”. No emails are being sent.
I’m running Thesis as well as WP eStore. Am I missing an integration step somewhere? I notice that there are already login pages generated by WP eStore.
Thanks!
Beth

December 4, 2010 at 11:57 pm #27081CampbellDukeSpectatorThanks 007 – There was no problem, really. I was using the same browser for checking the install that I was concurrently working in with the install.
Thanks for getting back to me promptly.
Take Care,
Beth
February 24, 2011 at 12:13 am #27082woodpecker34MemberI am getting the same error.
I complete an order (order shows up in eStore, the registration email is sent and I click the link, enter new login information (the registration form knows that it is a paid registration), enter new information and get the error message.
My download/install date is Jan 15
February 24, 2011 at 12:24 am #27083woodpecker34MemberI just downloaded, uploaded, deactivated and reactivated both eStore and eMember and get the same error.
February 24, 2011 at 12:51 am #27084woodpecker34MemberThe problem was that I was trying to register a username that was already registered.
The reason for this is the in eMember, I do not have any members showing up in ‘Manage Members’ but I have a list of 4 users in my dashboard, 3 without user names.
How can I ‘manage’ (ie delete) these users if they are not showing up in my manage members page?
February 24, 2011 at 2:39 am #27085amin007ParticipantCan you please delete all these users without a username then do only one transaction and complete the whole process (don’t keep doing more transactions).
After someone pays, the username filed will be empty because the user is yet to choose his/her username and password (eMember will send an email to prompt them to complete the registration).
So make a payment then wait for the email for the complete registration prompt. Follow the link and try to choose your username and complete the rego and let me know where you get blocked.
February 24, 2011 at 3:18 am #27086woodpecker34MemberI cannot find a way to delete them.
On the ‘WP eMembers – Manage Members’ display, there are no members displayed.
What I see on the dashboard is
Recent 5 members
ID User Level Since
8 Paid 2011-02-24
7 Paid 2011-02-23
6 JanetO Paid 2011-02-21
5 Paid 2011-02-21
with no way to select and delete any of them.
I agree with you about having some patience (once I get rid of all of them).
February 24, 2011 at 1:55 pm #27087woodpecker34MemberLooks like my problem is related to this:
