Some members are not being expired after one month
I’ve checked,
eMember Level ID 3 matches paypal advanced variables,
custom=subsc_ref=3
What else can I check?
1. What version of eMember are you using?
2. Are you using a recurring payment button or a one time payment button?
3. What value have you set in the “Membership Duration” field of this level?
4. What is the value of the “Subscription Start Date” field for the member in question?
1. version 7.4.5
2. one time paypal payment button
3. Subscription duration 30 days
4. One member #33 Subscription Start Date 2012-01-29
Another member #39 Start Date 2012-01-31
Do members have to attempt to login to get expired? Or is there something running on eMember checking members daily/hourly.
When a member attempts to login it will check the expiry condition and expire the account if it is past the duration specified in the membership duration field. You can check this out by tried to log into the site using one of those accounts. eMember also runs a check once every night which is suppose to expire those accounts too. Can you please check by logging into the site as that member and let me know if the account gets set to expired so I can verify that expired members are not being able to see protected content.
I set one member with start date 2011 and one month subscription to active, then tried to log in with that member and it did become expired and the member didn’t have access to protected content. I’ve set the account back to active and will check tomorrow to see if the nightly check is expiring accounts, but I suspect it won’t.
Okay good. Can you please load a fresh build of the plugin too (this way we can eliminate some other possible issues):

The nightly expiring didn’t work with my current version but after upgrading the plugin to 7.7.2 the nightly expiring worked, thanks.
