Hello Staff!
I’m using WP eMembers and WP eStore from some time, but i’m still setting some features manually and guess i’m experiencing some configuration misunderstandings.
Let me explain how my subscriptions plan is.
I have basically 2 kind of products: individual course (which are several), and a monthly subscription for live webinars.
Monthly subscription is designed to be multi-level, so the more a user is subscribed to, the more he leveled up. The subscription can also be interrupted and resumed to the same level.
Single courses instead, are simply a “lifetime” purchase, so the user can login and download his course basically for ever.
Each of these can be purchased individually, without requiring the purchase of other products.
This means that a user can buy 5 single courses. Or a single course and a monthly subscription. Or even just the monthly subscription. Or a single course + 3 months of subscription + another single course + 6 month of subscription…
What is the recommended configuration for this kind of workflows?
The main problem i’m experiencing, is that if a user buys monthly subscription AND a single course, when he discontinue the subscription is basically considered “inactive” (immediately or when the subscription expire) and can’t login anymore to download the lifetime single course. If i just switch the user to a “free” membership, he can’t join to monthly subscription on the same level as when interrupted…
Have you some suggestions for me?
Thank you in advance!
