Tagged: customer input
Hi,
I have been running the Simple PayPal Shopping Cart for some time with no problems. Currently running v4.4.8 on WordPress 5.2.4.
I just purchased and installed the Collect Customer Input plugin, v1.5, and configured it to collect one field: Player’s name, which is a required field. That field shows up fine in the shopping cart. However, neither the field label or the customer data are being passed either to the Cart Orders list in WP, or in the confirmation email I get from PayPal.
Should I be looking elsewhere for this information? I expected it to be in the email along with the item(s) purchased, total paid, mailing address, and other info.
Thank you.

Thank you. I did check for errors, and saw that JQuery wasn’t installed. I’ve corrected that, but the custom field (and its data) are still not being passed to the database.
I don’t see any other Javascript errors on the site.
Any other ideas? Thank you.
Update: my JQuery installation failed the first time. It’s now in, and we are getting the custom field data. It works. THANK YOU!
