I am using eStore to distribute an eBook as digital download.

I want to do two things:

    1) Send an encrypted link with expiration of 336 hours (two weeks) directly to my existing subscribers (via MailChimp) where they can download the file immediately.

    2) Send an encrypted link with expiration of 48 hours to any NEW subscribers via the eStore manual checkout form.

I created two products in my eStore (with the same content) with the intention of sending one to my subscribers and the other one to new subscribers. I do not see a way to set separate expiration times for download links to individual products. Is this possible?

    Thanks.

Can you tell me why you want the expiry time on this other ink to be 336 hours? I am asking you this so I can better understand need for this so I can suggest a solution for it.

I want to provide a link to the digital download for my customers who are already subscribed (via Mailchimp) that only expires after 14 days (for the convenience of those who might be on vacation).

At the same time, I would like to use the digital download as an enticement for new customers to sign up for our newsletter via our website. This link should be unique to the person who signs up (i.e. the standard eStore encrypted link that expires after say 48 hours or 2 downloads).

Okay, we don’t have a per product specific link expiration option yet but the following should work for you.

eStore has a feature that lets your users re-download items that they purchased or subscribed to before. This post has details on this feature:

You can use that option to create a page and send your customers (who already purchased) to it so they can service themselves. This way you won’t have to worry about the expiry duration for users on holiday and stuff.
