sending notification when adding member manuall

Hi all,

We are using wp emember 7.8.9. We have a situation where we have to create emember accounts manually and would like to use the feature “Send a Notification to the User” But when we click that checkbox, we get a textarea with a tons of slashes. See screenshot below:

I’ve tried deleting all of that and writing the text I want to send but it always reverts back to that.

Is there a way to fix it so we can have default text there other than all those slahes?

Can you please try loading a fresh copy of eMember by following the instructions here:
