I am able to add & edit members provided I do NOT tick the ‘Send Notification to User’ box. If I tick the box everything locks up and I have to exit the backend completely.
I had been using the free version of WP eMember for the past month and it worked fine. I began having this problem last week and thought it might be connected with a recent WP update (3.5.1). I deleted the free version and purchased and installed the paid version (8.5.5) today thinking that might solve the problem. No luck, I’m having the same issue.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

That’s news to me. As far as I know there is no free version and what you were using is most probably a pirated copy. You should check this post just in case:
The issue you explained could be cause by a javasript conflict. If you have a theme or plugin that has error in it then it can behave this way. Please try the plugin/theme conflict tests to see if another plugin or your theme is causing issues:

I’m having this same issue on my current site. I’ve contact support several times via your contact form, and I have still not heard anything.
I’ve checked for theme and plugin conflicts as well…Any ideas…?
It was working up until about 2 weeks ago after there was an update to the plugin. my guess is it is related to that…
I have sent you an email to [tsnolan23@aol.com]. Please reply to it so I can look into this for you.
