Please Help!

I have eStore and eMember installed and set up. I just can’t get the flow right. The site sells 2 physical products and a membership “product” that allows access to protected pages that have embedded video on them. I want buyers to join (free) before buying any products so the “buy now” paypal button on check out page redirects to the register page. What do I do for the membership product? I don’t want it to be listed on the ‘join us’ page as another membership level but rather on the store page in the list of products.

I have a free membership level and a paid content level set up in emember settings. “Redirect after login” for paid membership is set to go to the embedded video content page. I added the ID for paid membership to an estore product. After a buyer signs up and buys the paid membership how do they get access to the pages? Will emember plugin automatically grant access to their account?

On your join us page you don’t have to place purchase buttons if you don’t want to. This basically the place where your visitors interested in joining the site will land. So use this page to explain what options you have for them. For example, you can tell them that they should first signup for a free membership (place a link to the registration page) and then they can head to the store/products page to make purchase. Whenever a visitor is purchasing a product that is attached to a membership level (see the video tutorial to understand how it works) his member account will get upgrade automatically so that person can access the content he purchased.
