    Hello,

I have been using this plugin successfully for quite some time, and then all of a sudden today it stopped working completely. I changed nothing, except adding a couple of products to my item list.

I enabled debug and it’s giving me this as an output:

[04/04/2012 2:30 AM] – SUCCESS :Paypal Class Initiated by 70.124.77.145

    [04/04/2012 2:30 AM] – SUCCESS :Post string :

[04/04/2012 2:30 AM] – SUCCESS :Connection to http://www.paypal.com successfuly completed.

[04/04/2012 2:30 AM] – FAILURE :IPN validation failed.

[04/04/2012 2:30 AM] – SUCCESS :Paypal class finished.

I went into my PayPal account prior to running the debug and enabled my IPN (it has been disabled always, and the eStore plugin has always worked… so I don’t know why it matters now all of a sudden). I set my website as the notification URL. The output above is what it gave me.

Please help me! Thank you in advance for your help.

I see all of the IPNs I’ve submitted while trying to fix this problem in my PayPal account. They all say “Queued”.

I deleted the eStore plugin I had installed, and installed the latest version, and it’s still not working. It is possible that this error is originating on PayPal’s end?

Okay, so I went in and disabled IPNs, then re-enabled IPNs, and that let me resend an IPN. I resent one of the IPNs, and after a while it went through. Now, I tried making another purchase, and it says “Queued” in my list of IPNs. I’ll stop messing with it for now and check in for your response in a few hours. Thank you!

It’s working now, without me changing anything other than updating the plugin, but the IPNs are going through really slowly. Thoughts on this?

It is totally upto PayPal’s discretion as to when they send the IPN to your server. Usually it is instant in most cases but they can delay it up to a few hours (depending on their server load). You can contact them to find out more on their IPN delivery policy.
