I went through the configuring s2Member to work with WP Affiliate, and thought I did everything correctly. Ran the test as they suggested, and the click thru was recorded, but sales wasn’t.
Here is my login page: [http://www.bobwp.com/wpstarters-affiliates/]
Here is my affiliate landing page: [http://www.bobwp.com/wp-starters/]
Anything else you need to help with this? Thanks!
February 3, 2012 at 4:19 am #41545adminKeymasterI checked your landing page and everything looks good with the button.
What value do you have in the following field of S2Member plugin?
s2Member’s options ->API/Notifications Menu -> Payment Notification URL

February 3, 2012 at 7:35 pm #41546bobwpMemberYes I do have this in there [http://www.bobwp.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/api/post.php?secret=———a&ap_id=%%cv1%%&sale_amt=%%amount%%&buyer_email=%%payer_email%%]
with my secret word with the dashes, am trying to go through the other post and make some sense of it : )
February 3, 2012 at 8:56 pm #41547bobwpMemberI did go through the other thread but still am at a lost… any other thoughts would be appreciated.
February 4, 2012 at 4:41 am #41548adminKeymaster1. Enable debug from the settings menu of the affiliate plugin
2. Do an affiliate purchase test transaction with S2Member
3. Share the content of the debug file (wp_affiliate_debug.log)
February 4, 2012 at 5:05 pm #41549bobwpMemberWill do but quick question, so I don’t’ need to keep moving $57 here and there, is there a way to change the price to a lower amount on the existing paypal button so I can continue testing?
February 4, 2012 at 5:56 pm #41550bobwpMemberOkay, so I changed my amount on my paypal button to $1, but not sure if I should have done that…
So when I do a purchase using that the debug log says
[02/04/2012 5:46 PM] – SUCCESS :Start processing remote commission tracking request…
[02/04/2012 5:46 PM] – SUCCESS :Request does not have any GET or POST data.. cannot process request
Tried to figure out what’s wrong in another thread here, but a bit baffled
February 5, 2012 at 4:40 am #41551adminKeymasterLooks like the S2Member plugin is not notifying the affiliate plugin with purchase details (it is missing the secret key for sure). Are you using the “Selling access to Specific Posts/Pages” feature of the S2Member?
February 5, 2012 at 4:55 pm #41552bobwpMemberNope
February 6, 2012 at 3:20 am #41553adminKeymasterOkay. Some setup step is most likely missing… I sent you an email to get site access so I can investigate further.
January 17, 2013 at 7:06 am #41554viralshotMemberI followed the steps and WP Affiliate integrated nicely with S2Member Pro. I do have 1 problem i’m hoping you can help with. I just did a test and once the transaction goes thru, it shows 2 sales (1 second apart in time) on the affiliate side. Any ideas? Basically wants to pay my affiliates twice for every sale.
January 17, 2013 at 10:26 pm #41555viralshotMemberUpdate to WP Affiliate awarding 2 commissions per sale.
I noticed when I login as admin and look at affiliate “sales data” the transaction shows to slightly different “Unique Transaction ID’s” The sale time is 1 second different.
January 18, 2013 at 12:46 am #41556adminKeymasterHi, What version of the affiliate plugin are you currently using?
Please load a fresh copy of the plugin just in case:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
After that, go to the settings menu of the plugin and check the “Enable Debug” option.
Now do a test transaction and share the content of the debug file so I can analyze it.
January 18, 2013 at 1:45 am #41557viralshotMemberok I submitted the request for update. Currently i’m using: Version v5.3.6
