I am having the same problem. The actual link also works. I have made several practice runs at this and every time I get the Requested File Could Not Be Found error message. Plus all the encrypted links were exactly the same for each purchase. I have done this over five times. Aren’t the encrypted links random? Plus I verified the file is in the right folder. This started happening when I uploaded the new update on the WP eStore plugin plus had the box checked for the PDF Stamper. Before when it was working I was just having them download a .zip file but now I have a .pdf file.
August 13, 2010 at 11:43 pm #18499wpCommerceModeratorIs it only happening for the PDF file? Did you print to PDF in a proper adobe way? The error can occur if the plugin can’t read the PDF file while downloading .
August 14, 2010 at 12:22 am #18500AnonymousGuestOkay, I recreated the PDF file using print to PDF plus I also went in to Adobe PDF and clicked on create PDF from file and both give me the same link not found error. Plus I deactivated, deleted and reinstalled PDF Stamper and made sure the code was entered, which it still was and still get the file not found error message. If I have the file zipped it works fine. Does the PDF Stamper work with a zipped PDF file? Thanks John.

Please have a quick look at this post to make sure you haven’t done any of them:
Downloaded file size is 0 (Zero) byte or 404 error or Other file download error
We will worry about the PDF Stamper later… lets try to get your download working with eStore (PDF Stamper will automatically work)
August 14, 2010 at 12:53 am #18502AnonymousGuestI followed the information on the above link and I still get the same errors. The “.htaccess”, “.htpasswd ” have been deleted and again the same exact file not found error, plus it still works if I have a zipped file. I have two different websites with two different PDF Stamp plugins (they both have their own keys) and get the exact same error.
