August 22, 2011 at 11:59 pm #4130myln MemberHi, I am using the latest version of eMember and I am having a problem with the registration page. A new user makes a purchase and the email with the registration link is send correctly. When the user fills the username and password and clicks the REGISTER button (in the registration page) I get in RED the following at the top of the page and nothing happens. Username: Email: Password: Any ideas as to why I get this behavior? Thanks in advance August 23, 2011 at 1:14 am #35778admin KeymasterPlease post a link to your registration page. What exact version of eMember do you have installed? August 23, 2011 at 8:39 am #35779myln MemberHi, Thanks for the reply. To reach the registration page you need first to make a purchase through paypal so if I post the link here you won’t be able to see it. You can see a screenshot of the error here :http://goo.gl/RpjlZ I tried different thinks like disabling items from the settings, removing the protection from the registration page, enabling debugging to see if I get any errors but could not find anything that maybe causing this problem. I have installed Wp eMember v6.9.7 Thanks again August 23, 2011 at 8:59 am #35780admin KeymasterI actually need to be able to see the HTML source to determine the cause. There are two options 1) You can temporarily enable free membership so I can check the registration page or 2) You can create a test page and place a shortcode to create a back door registration form for me to see. This page will explain more (check the back door registration form section): http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/wp-emember-miscellaneous-tweaks-248 August 23, 2011 at 9:20 am #35781myln MemberAugust 23, 2011 at 9:35 am #35782admin KeymasterThank you. You can disable the free membership now. I don’t see anything weird in the HTML code. I have sent you an email to get site access so I can check the PHP code of the plugin to see where those 3 lines are coming from. August 23, 2011 at 10:02 am #35783myln Memberdone August 23, 2011 at 11:43 am #35784admin KeymasterThe last build of eMember seem to have a minor validation glitch which caused this issue. We have reverted the eMember build to the last stable build (v5.9.5) where it should be working correctly. If anyone else is seeing this exact issue please get another build of eMember from here and you should be fine: August 23, 2011 at 3:17 pm #35785cflyrun MemberJust FYI I tried to manually register a member this AM and had this problem as well. Will be downgrading til the next update. Daisy August 24, 2011 at 12:23 am #35786admin KeymasterUploaded a new build where we addressed this validation issue. February 8, 2012 at 9:59 pm #35787efiguera MemberAdmin please state Uploaded what new build? What version of emember. I have 6.3.5 and I am having the same issue.
