Registration email not being sent

I have eStore and eMember integrated (as well as Aweber). I did a test purchase and did not receive a registration email. I did receive an email that said “Your account has been upgraded successfully” The correct eMember ID is the same as what is in eStore “Reference Text”. Please advise….

If you already have an account it won’t send you another registration email (you only need to register once to create the account). If you make a new payment it will simply upgrade you account to reflect the payment you made (if the payment was for a membership).

Even if the “test” account was deleted?

The first “test” purchase, I missed a step, therefore, I deleted the “test” account. At the time of the first test, I did receive the registration email. Since I fixed what I needed to, I tried another “test” purchase to make sure everything was okay. This is when the registration email wasn’t sent. Is it still recognizing the first account (even though it has been deleted)?

1. Make sure you are not logged into the site when you are making this test purchase (create a scenario that your user will face)

2. Make sure that email address (the one you are using to make the payment) doesn’t have any eMember or WordPress user accounts (some people forget to check the WordPress user accounts).

What version of eMember and WordPress are you using?

I am going to try it with a different email address and see what happens. I will let you know how it does.

I tried a test purchase again with a different email (that has never been associated with eMember nor this WordPress account), this time, I still didn’t receive the registration email, but also didn’t receive any emails from my Aweber account. The only emails I received were “Thank you for your purchase” and the “member account upgrade email” and that was it. Before, I received the Aweber emails, but not the registration.

I have it set up where they receive the download link via Aweber. They should receive the registration page then clicked on the download link via Aweber using their registration user and password to access the subscription information (the first lesson).

Hi ,

I have the same problem but I have just the eMember 7.6.1

its still not sending any Registration email .

and I found that its from hosting , I have transfer the website , and now the mail is working .
