MemberHi. I’m using your brilliant eStore plugin to sell my own WordPress image slider plugin. I’m wondering, is it possible to send a new encrypted links to all of the customers who have already purchased the plugin everytime I update the plugin?
Matthew.

ModeratorEach encrypted download link is unique. You can do one of two things…
1. Manually generate links for each customer, using the “Admin Functions.” Not fun, if you have a lot of customers.
2. Invite them via a mailing list to download the new version.
You might also consider adding some kind of upgrade notification system to your plugin.

ParticipantGiven that you are not limiting the downloads by the number of times a file is downloaded then you can send one encrypted link to all of your customers (as long as they download it before the time expires).
You can generate an email list of all of the customers from the “Manage Customers” menu.
If you are using an autoresponder integration then it’s just a matter of sending an email to the correct email list.

Maybe Amin has something like this in mind as a “feature?”
What would be really good is if the plugin had some way to check for updates, like the others do for the free WP plugins; except the updates would come from your server instead.

Moderator@MatthewRuddy: Yes,the link will expire in 48 hours from the time you generate it using the “Admin Function” of eStore.

ParticipantYou can also use something like I am using on this page (check the automatic update option):
The beauty of this approach is that rather than pushing updates all the time you give them the update on demand.
If I get enough interest then I might make a product.
