I’m using eMember with Paypal sandbox. When I do a transaction, I see the sandbox notifications (emails) to the buyer and seller that the transaction took place. The eMember “all transactions” tab shows the transaction. But the sandbox buyer doesn’t receive a notification (email) for “prompt to complete registration” even though my email settings in eMember includes this email. Is this a limitation of Paypal sandbox? Is there a way to get around it? Or do I need to give up on Paypal sandbox and use a live Paypal account?
The sandbox eamil addresses are actually fake emails where real world emails can’t be routed to. Fully read the following post which will be helpful. It will also explain how you can test the real scenario also:
