Hi,
Maybe this is in documentation somewhere, and we’ll have a VERY short thread.
What emails should we see in various situations?
For example, I read where Ashlee was getting 4 emails:
1. PayPal purchase email
2. eStore – Thanks for your purchase
3. eMember – Complete your Registration (membership)
4. eMember – Registration complete – Login info
I get only 2 emails:
1. PayPal Purchase email
2. eMember – Complete your registration
Is this now the normal thing? How do we know what “normal” is?
I am using:
* eStore 3.6.5 (I’ve had a problem with eStore 4.1.2 and eMember.)
* eMember 5.6.2
By default when someone makes a purchase of a product or service they will get the following two emails:
1) Purchase receipt from PayPal.
2) Purchase details email from eStore with the download links if any.
If the payment was for a membership (for example using with eMember) then the customer will get one additional email:
3) eMember – Complete your Registration (for membership account)
You can choose to configure eStore to not send the 2nd email but that’s upto you.
Thank you. I will need to verify what is happening on my end, then – I believe I’m missing the email from the eStore.
