Hi all
in the settings of WP Affiliate Platform I entered as commission Level 25%.
I have a product (a webinar) where I entered as Product Specific Commission 10%.
But when someone buys the product the affiliate partner receives 25%. That’s not good.
Is there an error in the plugin or in my brain?
Cheers,
Ivan

Can you please post a link to the page where you are testing it?
February 10, 2010 at 5:35 am #17874blatternetMemberI’m using the PayPal payment gateway and for testing the Manual Checkout.
Here’s my page: http://www.blatternet.ch
And here the product: http://www.blatternet.ch/anmeldung-einfach-produktiv/

February 10, 2010 at 8:31 am #17876blatternetMemberThank you for your fast reply!
Here is some background:
I have two product: An ebook and a webinar.
For the ebook I accept only PayPal payments.
For the webinar I have to accept also the Manual Checkout. Why? Because often the office or firm of the participant pays the bill and often they don’t want to use paypal. They also need a “real” invoice with my logo etc.
So here’s what I did:
I defined the standard commission as 10%. In the details of my ebook I entered 25%.
So everything should be OK now.
Thanks for your help!

On the 1st tier the commission calculates per item sold as it should, but the 2nd tier commission is not being adjusted for the quantity sold. Is there a way I can correct this? If this is an issue that can not be reset, is there a way to manually adjust the reported commission due?
We have just started our program, so it has not affected an affiliate yet, (It showed up on a sale where I would be the recipient of the override)but it won’t be long.

Because you are using a fixed amount commission per sale it’s awarding the fixed amount regardless of how many quantities you sold on the same transaction (using a percentage based system would yield a better result in this scenario.
I have plans to add the ability to specify a 2nd tier commission per product option in eStore which will allow you to use the fixed commission per item rather than per sale.
August 21, 2010 at 1:43 am #17879lynnibugMemberany idea when that feature might be added?
August 21, 2010 at 2:47 am #17880IvyMemberHi, We are still working on adding this. The time frame is unknown as our to do list is always changing. We do hope to have this out shortly.
