Where is the configuration element in WP eStore that allows it to ‘know’ which products or subscriptions created in WP eStore correspond to products and subscriptions created in Stripe payment processor?
For example, product or subscription “1” in WP eStore corresponds to the product “Salted Bat Wings” that I created in Stripe, but I don’t see anything in the WP eStore back end that ‘tells’ Stripe someone just purchased or signed up for that particular product or subscription. I get that the API connects WP eStore to my Stripe account, but how is the product-specific information transmitted, and what do I need to do in order to facilitate this?
I presume I am missing something in the product/subscription creation process on the WP eStore side.
Please tell me this question makes sense.
January 31, 2016 at 6:54 pm #72458wzpModeratorIn order to use Stripe with eStore, you must also have the Payment Gateway Bundle:

Without the Gateway Bundle, the only payment gateways you can use are: PayPal, Authorize.net, 2Checkout, Google Wallet, BitCoin via BitPay, Braintree, eWay Rapid 3.0, and Offline payment method (payment via cheque, cash or bank transfer).
February 1, 2016 at 2:35 am #72459erikrushMemberI do have the Payment Gateway Bundle, but the configuration such as I see it does not show any way to connect the products and subscriptions created in WP eStore and the corresponding products and subscriptions created in Stripe. In other words, how does Stripe know which of the products and subscriptions are being paid for. I see no manner in which to configure this in the WP eStore, even withe the Payment Gateway Bundle.
February 1, 2016 at 5:01 am #72460wzpModeratorWhen Stripe is integrated with eStore, all product information should be created/edited in, and managed by eStore; not by Stripe. In other words, Stripe just processes the payment information provided by eStore.
February 2, 2016 at 1:12 am #72461adminKeymasterThe following documentation tells you exactly what to do for stripe subscription. Please read it fully then do the steps (on a test page if you want) and that will help you learn how it works:
