Hi. I´m having trouble with the e-mail body that I set up in Settings page. It doesn´t show up in the e-mail. The e-mail consist of a lot of information about the purchase, but not the things I have set up. The subject field is shown correct, but not the body. I would love to hade all the info that is now in the email, but of course also my set up body part.
August 22, 2010 at 2:13 am #23558IvyMemberHi,
1.) Did you save the settings after you made changes to the email?
2.) What version of the eStore are you using?
3.) Do you have special characters in the email?
August 22, 2010 at 8:30 am #23559oskar79kMemberHi
1. You helped me before with the problems I had that customers not showing when placing orders with manual checkout. The email sent out to both the byuer and seller looks really nice after that, but not as I put in in the body field in the setup.
If you send me an email to oskar.kalitzki@farjestadsbk.se I can forward a email and a print screen of the body part.
2. 3.8.3
3. no-reply@farjestadsbk.se and oskar.kalitzki@farjestadsbk.se. Dont see anything odd there or?

April 5, 2011 at 7:54 am #23561RinaldoMemberI have exactly the same problem, albeit I didnt change anything. All the text generated by the order processing is there, also the subject line is there, but all the other accompanying text in the body is not!?
Thanks!
April 6, 2011 at 12:40 am #23562amin007ParticipantAre we talking about the email body for the customer or for the admin?
What value do you have in the “Customer’s Email Body” field now?
April 6, 2011 at 5:35 am #23563RinaldoMemberThis was a manual checkout. I noticed now that the admin and customer emails are the same, except for the subject line:
Dear {first_name} {last_name}
Thank you for your purchase!
{product_details}

This is why there is a separate area for the manual checkout where you can add instructions for your customers. Look in the “Directions for the Customer” field in the Manual checkout section. The help text for that field will explain what it does. All the product details and customer details are included in the email by default (you don’t have to use any tag for that).
June 16, 2014 at 9:58 am #23565missmarceMemberThe body of the email that I send to the buyer is displayed as text and non-visuale:
<span style=”font-family: ‘times new roman’, times; font-size:
12pt;”> Complimenti e grazie per aver acquistato il corso
</span><span
style=”color: #454545; font-family: ‘times new roman’, times; font-size:
12pt;”>multimediale “Matrimonio Low Cost”.</span>
<span style=”font-family: ‘times new roman’, times; font-size: 12pt;”>
Matrimonio Low Cost x 1 – €0.01 (EUR)</span>
Buyer Email Body and saved as a visuale.
