eStore – html code appearing in plain text email

I have my “General Email Settings” set for Plain Text, as you recommend. However, when the email gets generated (I’m just using the default email content), it comes through with all the html tags visible.

For example, this is some of what I see in the email (html tags included!):

Any idea why this would be coming through like this?

That didn’t come through right. Here’s what I see:

The editor isn’t behaving correctly on your site (another plugin or theme is breaking it). Switch to the “text” view and remove any HTML tags. Then save the settings (don’t switch back to the “visual” view for that email description field).

So we cannot use html in the editor at all? I have a complete html template that i would like to use but it only sends as plain text. has a solution been found for this problem?

You can use HTML email for eStore’s notification email.

Make sure to pick the HTML option for the following dropdown field in Email Settings menu of eStore:

Email Content Type

[Author]
