Hi,
I know that there are some other posts on this topic, I started a new one for a reason.
I have the fancy login selected and am using #2, but for this issue, it doesn’t matter which one I use.
On the pages that I have this shortcode: [wp_eMember_compact_login] at the top of the page, it appears that the fancy login doesn’t work. If I go to the pages that have that and remove the shortcode then the Fancy Login works.
It appears that the fancy login conflicts with at least one piece of eMember shortcode.
I really want to use the fancy login and on the two membership pages, I really want to welcome the member by name. Is it possible that someone take a look at this and see if it can be made to work.
Thanks
August 21, 2012 at 5:44 am #48535adminKeymasterI will investigate this.

August 22, 2012 at 6:25 am #48537adminKeymasterThis should be fixed now. Please load a new build of the plugin:

August 26, 2012 at 3:45 pm #48538BokjaMemberI tried the update and style1 does not work. With style2, the fancy login shows up center but at the bottom of page. What file needs to be modified to shift the location so log in shows up more compact and in the center?
August 26, 2012 at 10:34 pm #48539PeterMemberIt’s easier for us to know what you’re talking about when you send a link to the page to demonstrate the problem(s).
From your explanation it seems like you have JavaScript issue on your webpage. Did you test your theme using this method?

August 27, 2012 at 12:50 am #48540BokjaMemberhere is the link
if you click the login, the pop-up opens at the bottom of the page preventing the viewing of the full pop up window.
August 27, 2012 at 4:14 am #48541PeterMemberHave you modified any code for the eMember plugin?
I’ve looked at your page with firebug and it looks like you’ve done some modifications to the code.
August 27, 2012 at 12:41 pm #48542BokjaMemberI was working on modifying the code to try and shift the fancy log in up higher, but nothing was working. I can revert it back to original the fancy log in still appears in that same location.
I am newbie at coding but if you could provide some direction as to what code lines need to change and what the changes are I can modify it and give it a shot. Much appreciated.
August 27, 2012 at 2:03 pm #48543primatedMemberThanks, I’ll get a new version and let you know.
August 28, 2012 at 5:05 pm #48544primatedMemberNo, it still doesn’t work. I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it, but it still doesn’t work.
The only way to get it to work is by removing this shortcode from the page:[wp_eMember_compact_login]
Anyway of getting it so that there can be the floating login box and the member greeting with [wp_eMember_compact_login]
Below is the link to one of the pages that doesn’t work.

How were you able to get the fancy login to work at this link: Would it be possible to provide some directions to the steps required?
Thanks in advance.
