The product price no longer updates, the base price remains regardless of the selected variation. The correct price does appear the cart however. This happened after the latest WordPress 5.6 update. I already tried disabling all other plugins.
December 27, 2020 at 4:27 pm #82186wzpModeratorI already tried disabling all other plugins.
Does that include any page caching plugins, as well?
Also, please check for possible JavaScript errors, on your site.
December 28, 2020 at 8:23 am #82187deepbevelParticipantI turned off caching as well. I just tested again with no caching or plugins, also with the default theme 2021. I checked for javascript errors as advised and don’t see any. No change.
December 28, 2020 at 8:25 am #82188deepbevelParticipantI should add, this problem happened after the WordPress 5.6 update, it was working fine before.
December 28, 2020 at 8:38 am #82189deepbevelParticipantI discovered another issue, when I add a target url for a product category page, it doesn’t save. Also product categories cannot be deleted. This is true with all other plugins disabled, no caching, and default theme.
December 28, 2020 at 9:15 am #82190deepbevelParticipantThe categories issue is resolved. I didn’t notice the delete confirmation link at the top of the page. But the price update problem still persists.
December 28, 2020 at 4:18 pm #82194wzpModeratorWordPress 5.6 has been tested against all current versions of our plugins. When you updated WordPress, did you also update all of the Tips & Tricks HQ plugins and addons?

December 28, 2020 at 7:02 pm #82197deepbevelParticipantI read about that. It says I should deactivate and delete the plugin, then reinstall it, but won’t I lose all my products and settings if I do that?
Usually when I update a plugin, I don’t have to delete it first.December 28, 2020 at 7:14 pm #82198wzpModeratorYou won’t lose your data; because it is stored in the WordPress database, not in the plugin directories. THE ONLY WAY to lose data, is if you take a deliberate action, to “drop (delete)”the existing database tables. When you reinstall and reactivate the plugins, they will recognize the previously stored data.

December 28, 2020 at 7:17 pm #82201deepbevelParticipantOk thanks, I’ll try it.
January 1, 2021 at 9:42 am #82213deepbevelParticipantI tried and it didn’t fix the problem. What now?
January 1, 2021 at 10:45 am #82214deepbevelParticipantI installed the jQuery Migrate plugin and set it to use Legacy 1.12.4-wp. Now the problem is resolved. However, it only works with the Legacy version, and not with the Default from WordPress version of JQuery. What can we do to make it so I don’t have to use Legacy?
January 1, 2021 at 10:57 am #82215deepbevelParticipantThis is a message from the JQuery Migrate plugin:
“Right now, you are using a plugin to support some old code in this website’s jQuery JavaScript library. That code is deprecated, meaning it is basically obsolete and is losing the support of your themes and plugins and WordPress itself.
This plugin, called Enable jQuery Migrate Helper, is not a fix. It is a temporary solution to give your plugin and theme authors time to update. If you get warnings, please check for updated versions of the plugin or theme that generated the warning. There will very likely be one you can install. When you have updated your plugins and themes, and there are no more warnings, please deactivate Enable jQuery Migrate Helper.
You are currently using a legacy version of jQuery. It has no support and doesn’t receive security updates. Please upgrade as soon as possible.”
January 1, 2021 at 11:51 pm #82216adminKeymasterThere is most likely an addon or two that needs updating. I will check your site then I will have a better idea of where this is coming from. I have sent you an email for it.
