PHP Notice regarding invalid timezone ID

As I’m debugging another plugin, the following notice keeps coming up:

PHP Notice: date_default_timezone_set(): Timezone ID ” is invalid in /home/rsah3q2n27c0a9cs/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_aff_advanced_configs.php on line 18

I went through all of the settings and I don’t even see a Timezone option in settings.

First, load a fresh copy of the plugin just to be sure:

Next, go to the following settings interface:

Affiliate Plugin -> Settings -> Advanced Settings

Then check the following checkbox:

Use WordPress Timezone

Make sure you have a timezone value selected in your WordPress’s General settings (Settings -> General Settings -> Timezone)
